About the Game

Try Not To Rage: Forest is a 2D platformer built around one idea: keep moving forward without dying. You control a character through 25 levels set in a forest environment, each one adding more traps, tighter jumps and less room for error.

The visuals are simple and functional nothing flashy, but they get the job done. The focus is entirely on the gameplay. Controls are straightforward: run, jump and try not to hit anything that kills you. There are no power-ups, no checkpoints mid-level and no hand-holding. If you die, you restart the level.

Level Difficulty

Easy Levels (1-10)

Levels 1-10 teach you the basics: how jumping works, how traps behave and how unforgiving the physics are. They are still easy to fail if you rush, but they give you room to learn without constant restarts.

Devil Levels (11-20)

Levels 11-20 start introducing tighter jump windows, moving obstacles and sequences where one mistake means restarting the whole level. You will need to memorize patterns and execute consistently.

Nightmare Levels (21-25)

Levels 21-25 are where most players give up. The jumps are pixel-perfect, the traps are relentless and there is almost no margin for error. Completing these requires repetition, memorization and a tolerance for failure.

Tips

  • Memorize trap patterns before trying to speed through
  • Don't rush the levels are designed to punish impatience
  • Expect to die a lot that is how the game is structured
  • Break hard sections into smaller parts and practice each one
  • Step away when stuck coming back with fresh eyes helps
Key Features

25 Challenging Levels

25 levels total. The first few are manageable, but the difficulty ramps up quickly. There is no difficulty selector everyone plays the same levels.

Precision Gameplay

Jump timing matters. Landing precision matters. Some jumps require you to be at the exact edge of a platform. The game does not forgive sloppy inputs.

Rage-Inducing

The game is intentionally frustrating. That is the point. If you are looking for something relaxing, this is not it.

Fair Challenge

Most deaths feel like your fault, not the game's. Patterns are learnable, but the execution window is narrow. Fair is relative here.

What Makes It the Ultimate Experience?

Level Design: Each level introduces new trap combinations and tighter spacing. The layout is functional rather than artistic it is built to challenge, not to impress visually.

Controls: Simple on-screen buttons for left, right and jump. They respond reliably, which is all you need. The challenge is in your execution, not the controls.

Difficulty Curve: It gets harder in a straight line. There are no difficulty spikes it is a constant climb. By level 15, you will feel the difference from level 5.

If you finish all 25 levels, you have either exceptional patience or too much free time. Either way, respect.
